City & Guilds Qualified Wolverhampton Plumber

You may not realise it but unlike electricians you do not need to have any qualifications to set yourself up as a Wolverhampton plumber. So it would be wise to check that any person quoting for your plumbing work has a recognised plumbing qualification.

Severn Trent Qualified Wolverhampton Plumber

Although there are a large number of plumbers in Wolverhampton, the majority are not Severn Trent approved.  This is because of the high standards that Severn Trent set before allowing anyone on their Approved Plumber List.   To be approved you must first have a recognised plumbing qualification and you must also be Water Regulations qualified.  You are also required to have all your work checked and inspected to ensure it comes up to the required standard. In my case the Severn Trent inspector came and inspected a complete bathroom installation as part of the assessment before I became one of their approved plumbers.
